The lengthening days!

I enjoy the month of February. One really begins to take note of the lengthening days, and light.  I feel the exuberance of life awakening within me.  The Vernal Equinox soon approaches.

      At least 8 years to get this tiny Gladiolus species to bloom, but so worth it!

      I have you to thank for this unusual Chinese plant. I adore the fleshy succulent nature of the flower bud. The snows have receded where it grows under a cloche to protect the flowers from the bitter cold.
