Bulbophyllum falcatum

This orchid with minute flowers comes from west Africa, as well as Uganda in East Africa, and the DRC.  I love this Bulbophyllum species because it flowers on an unusual flattened rachis. Each rachis has approximately 12-20 flowers that are placed alternately on each side. Out of the genus it is one of the smaller species to grow. I have captured their inquisitive beauty below through macro photography.
